Company: Loyola University Chicago
Job title: Professor of Microbiology & Immunology and Cancer Biology
Bio:
Phong Le is a Professor of Microbiology, Immunology & Cancer Biology at Loyola University Chicago, whose group focuses on the biology of human thymic epithelial cells (TECs) in the developmental process of T-cells from hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Particularly, they are developing a cell-free system established with exosomes from TEC lines as an off-the-shelf “drug” to promote HSCs to develop into T-cells. Professor Le received his PhD from The Ohio State University and a Postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University.
